‘Dance is so many things, and I guess that is my answer, it is so many things. For as long as I can remember, I have been dancing…it’s the thing that I do that I don’t have to think about…it comes from an impulse, as simple as that, and it’s the most elating, fantastic, exciting, joyous thing that I can do – I will dance until the day I die. It is beautifully unpredictable, it goes beyond the barriers…it’s not about asking permission, it’s not about seeking approval, it’s the ‘me’ language.’
